SD-WAN:
- Improved security for monitoring VeloCloud® and Palo Alto Networks® Prisma SD-WAN1,2: Use API monitoring exclusively for monitoring these edge devices; no SNMP monitoring is required.
Wireless Access Points:
- Addition of RUCKUS® SmartZone™1,2: Extended wireless monitoring to RUCKUS SmartZone network virtual controller, including inventory, strength, usage, and traffic statistics. RUCKUS SmartZone joins RUCKUS One™, Cisco Meraki®, HPE-Aruba, Juniper Networks®, Fortinet, Arista Networks®, and Extreme Networks® for comprehensive WAP monitoring.
Storage Array—via Storage Resource Monitor (SRM):
- Addition of HPE Alletra and Dell PowerStore Q3: Addition arrays added to SRM coverage to further extend visibility into your storage infrastructure.
Usability and Scalability Improvements:
Intelligent Maps1,4:
- Improved management and usability: A new default settings page, the ability to edit the destination when the object is clicked in the map, and the ability to import nested maps when migrating from Network Atlas.
Modern Dashboards1,4:
- Actions Menu: A new actions menu in the top right of any modern dashboard will allow users to refresh data or enter NOC View instantly.
- NOC View: Flip any Modern Dashboard into NOC view to optimize real estate for large screens or projectors. Rotate through dashboards on a set timeframe, and toggle to Dark Mode.
- Dark Mode: Toggle any Modern Dashboard in NOC view to Dark Mode to reduce eyestrain and energy use.
Lower Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) with Scalability Improvements5:
- Reduce the number of standby servers required with flexible High Availability (HA) Pools for Additional Polling Engines (APEs): Create HA pools with more than two members more easily, using the GUI instead of via API.
- DOUBLE* polling engine capacity to deploy fewer pollers: Monitor 100k elements per poller, a 100% increase over the 2024.2 release and a 40% increase over the 2024.4 release.
